1. Welcome BPW International to Australia BPW Sydney Club welcomes BPW International to Australia for a turbo charged 3 years. Download the Triennium Theme Flyer here.  Congratulations Freda Miriklis, after three years working as Vice President United Nations on the BPW International Board; her peers recognised her great achievements and voted her in as the youngest ever BPW International President.  One other Australian was elected to the BPW International Board Geva Murano, from BPW Melbourne was elected to the position of BPWI Finance Director. BPW
Australia took a huge 23 Woman Deligation to Helsinki ( plus a sprinkle
of male partners) we are just starting to make our way back from the
the XVII BPW International Congress in Helsinki. More than a few of us
are still enjoying a few side trips to Europe and will be returning over
the next 6 weeks. What an amazing event with over 680 Women
from 86 Countries around the world, 4 jam packed days (and nights) of
world class speakers and International level business & strategy

Call for Board Members & Office Holders + AGM BPW Sydney Club will be holding it's Annual General Meeting for Members, this will be a closed event for Members Only. If you are thinking of being a member and particularly if you would like to nominate for a Board Position or Standing Committee Chair role then make sure you join BPW Sydney Club as a member and if you are an existing member please make sure your fees are paid up. You are welcome to nominate for all Board Positions and Sub Committee Chair Roles. For Board Positions you will need to be a paid up member of BPW Sydney Club. Here are the list of Board Positions - you can nominate for any and all positions. If we have no one currently Nominated for that position it is indicated.
3. 19 July Event | Boardroom to the 7 Seas  Nancy Knudsen
Nancy Knudsen will share her story about swapping the boardroom for the seven seas In 1984, Nancy founded Aircruising Australia, a specialist airline which she floated the on the main board of the Sydney Stock Exchange in July 1986.For many years Nancy was the only female Chair of a public company in Australia. Nancy has won numerous awards including Business Sydney's "Chief Executive of the Year", Telstra Business Owner of the Year she has been inducted into the Australian Women's Network Businesswomen's Hall of Fame and was awarded the Crusing Yacht Club of Australia's Trophy. |
